CODE OF CONDUCT
Digital Safety Notice
- The primary purpose of the Rehoboth Roundup is to carry the message of all 12 Step recovery programs, based upon the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). The Rehoboth Beach Roundup committee is dedicated to providing a safe recovery experience free of harassment to the LGBTQ+ community.
- Infractions of this no tolerance policy includes the following: any harmful language, behavior, or action related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, age, race, national origin, ethnic origin, nationality, immigration status, language, religion (or lack thereof) or other identity marker.
- The Rehoboth Beach Roundup committee requests that participants keep discussions recovery focused, respectful, and mindful of differing comfort levels in regard to describing graphic sexual topics. In addition please refrain from excessive profanity when sharing in general meetings. The room moderator will send a message to the participant if there are complaints and request the speaker to refocus. If the speaker does not comply, the moderator can remove the individual after exhausting all possibilities to adjust behavior.
- Please respect the anonymity of other attendees, speakers, and workshop leaders concerning all social media postings. These protocols are reasonable and protect the virtual integrity of all participants at the roundup. Simply, treat others as you would like to be treated and have fun.
