<td height="360px" align="left">For more than thirty years there have been recovery programs based on the twelve steps of Alcoholics Anonymous that address addictive and compulsive sexual behavior. Although these problems are common among recovering alcoholics and addicts, these recovery programs are not nearly as readily available as AA. In addition, there is still widespread shame and stigma around the issue of sexual addiction. This workshop will be an introduction to recovery from sexual addiction and compulsion through the twelve step recovery fellowships. We will discuss the various recovery programs, sometimes called &#8220;the S Programs&#8221; (Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous, Sex Addicts Anonymous, Sexual Compulsives Anonymous, and Sexaholics Anonymous), their focus, and their literature. We will also go into some of the similarities and the differences between sex addiction and alcoholism, before and after recovery. We will also discuss the availability of meetings in the Mid-Atlantic area, particularly Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC, and Rehoboth Beach. The second half of the workshop will be small group sharing of experience with sex addiction and compulsion among people in recovery from alcohol, so that we can help each other see that we are not alone and that there is hope for recovery.</td>

What are important elements in creating home? Structure, regular nourishing meals, quiet times, family times, maintenance, bill paying, decorating. We will touch on all these elements and more and share our experiences in recovery.</td>

<td width="150px" align="left"><strong>Step 10 Workshop</strong></td>
<td height="210px" align="left">This Step 10 workshop is well-suited to our theme this year of &#8220;The Road to Happy Destiny.&#8221; Trudging that road means continual application of the principles of the steps in all our affairs. Step 10 and its emphasis on self-evaluation is critical in our recovery to learning how to live happier lives on a daily basis. The workshop will be a hands-on experience and will focus on the original literature.
